Summer update: where Snohomish and King County prices stand now
By Mina Mina · Real Broker, LLC
Summer is when our market usually finds its energy, so here is a straight update on where things stand. The short version is that inventory has kept climbing across the region while prices have held fairly steady, with King County sitting higher and Snohomish offering more value.
The numbers in plain terms
Recent regional reports showed active listings up again year over year, giving buyers the most choice they have had in a while. King County medians stayed strong, pushing near the high eight hundreds, while Snohomish held in the mid seven hundreds. Every one of those figures is a blend, so your specific neighborhood may differ.
What it means for you
If you are buying, more listings and steadier prices mean less pressure and more room to be selective. If you are selling, pricing right from day one matters more than ever, because buyers have options and will pass on a home that reaches too high. Either way, strategy beats guesswork.
